The Grizzlies traded All-Star and former Defensive Player of the Yeear Jaren Jackson Jr to the Utah Jazz in a move that continued their pivot into a full rebuild.

John Konchar, Vince Williams Jr and Jock Landale were also included in the deal, which saw three 1st round picks go to Memphis, plus 2025 1st round pick Walter Clayton Jr, former Grizzly Kyle Anderson, Taylor Hendricks, and Georges Niang.

Also, this deal creates a massive trade exception that the Grizzlies can use in upcoming deal to bring in more assets or players.
